All About Me:    Izzy Bella is a sweet little girl.  She loves attention and she loves to sit in your lap to snooze with her best friend Harley.  She is housetrained and crate trained.  She follows her foster mom around the house.  She has checked out the cats and she seems to like them too.

Izzy Bella will see the vet on Tuesday (November 3) for a dental, update on vaccinations, ear check and a physical.

We would like for Harley and Izzy Bella to be adopted together.  Harley is just as sweet as Izzy Bella.  They will come with their bowls and large crate.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Izzy Bella and Harley, a Old Fort Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Old Fort, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Old Fort.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Old Fort already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Old Fort breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Old Fort paves the way for another one to be saved.
