My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pete is a handsome, solid brown/red Boxer/mix. Maybe 3 years old and about 60 pounds, he is very energetic, very strong, and in need of some leash work. Friendly with people and fine with most dogs when he meets them in a calm environment. He has been running stray for a while before coming to us, and can be fearful when away from the shelter. He needs a safe home to learn to trust the world.

An adoption fee may be required which helps cover some of the care and veterinary services provided, including spay for females, neuter for males, vaccinations, de-worming and heartworm testing when age appropriate.

This dog is housed at the Franklin County Small Animal Control shelter. The Humane Society graciously allows the shelter dogs to be posted under their account, but they have no direct knowledge and can answer no questions about the dogs housed there.
