Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Sullivan. This beautiful boy was found wandering around the country going from house to house when his foster mom got a call to see if she had room. He is a very strong and active boy at 52 pounds and just a 1 ½ years old. Sullivan is true to form and has the typical Border Collie activity level and will absolutely not be considered to anyone that does not have a fenced yard. He must have plenty of room to freely run and play at will, leash walks only will not do it for a Border Collie. He gets along well with other dogs, not sure about cats but does a lot of barking at livestock. He loves to jump on you to give you lots of hugs, so would be better with older children. He knows how to shake hands and sit. He is learning his manners and will need someone to be firm with him on curbing his jumping and excitement when seeing his people. Honestly all this boy needs is someone to give him plenty of attention and guidance. We can tell he has never had that, so he is just a little all over the road with his manners and interactions in life. A real plus is that Sullivan loves to ride in the car, happily looking out the window. If you plan to take this boy hiking or on runs at the beach, then he will be your star candidate to adopt. He is learning to walk on a leash and getting better. Sullivan will make the right person a wonderful companion if they continue to work with him and keep him busy and active. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
