Fie's Story...
This beautiful kitten turned up at one of our colonies a few weeks ago, way too sweet and friendly to remain outside. She likes other cats and people too. Come on out to the Cat Cafe at 354 Myrtle Ave (at Adelphi) in Fort Greene and meet her in person, through 11/29!

Fie is FIV/FeLV negative and vaccinated. She will be spayed and microchipped on Wed 11/4. Contact elizabethchamplcsw@gmail.com for more information or to fill out an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fie, a Brooklyn Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
