Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is a curtsey post for our rescues trainer who is looking for a home for a Purebred Rotti that he took on after someone called him because they had issues with Fred and said they didn’t want this young puppy at the time. Let’s just say, there are no bad dogs or puppies, only bad owners! Jake was having some guarding issues when our trainer first went to evaluate the dog. However, since being with our trainer there have been no issues with guarding toys or food. Our trainer has been working on Fred with all his manners and he has turned out to be just a terrific dog that listen and waits for all commands. What better then to get a dog that is already fully trained by a professional trainer? Now if Fred were to go to a home that is not going to continue on with his solid handling skills he could revert back to the dog he was when our trainer just got him. Therefore we would like Fred to go to a home that is familiar with the breed and going to be a pack leader with him. Fred turned a year old in August, is fully vaccinated, dewormed and has been altered. He gets along with all other dogs he meets, however he has not been tested with cats. Although Fred is a curtsey post, Providing for Paws protocol of an application being completed through us, references verified and a home visit prior to placement will still apply. However, since Providing for Paws is not collecting the fee for Fred, he is listed higher then Providing for Paws normal adoption fee at $400.00, which is well worth an already very well trained purebred dog that is up to date medically.
