My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING. ADR is not responsible for the health, temperament, behavior or placement of this dog. Listings are done at the request of the dog's owner and as an outreach and community service in hopes of finding these dogs a loving, stable forever home. Placement decisions are made solely at the discretion of the owner, and not Austin Dog Rescue. Owners are required to ask for an adoption fee from adopters.

This is the information that we received from Stevie Wonder's current foster mom:

He is a wonderful dog, and maybe someone is looking for his beautiful face:) He plays well with children, but I would always encourage a proper introduction. I don't have children, so he has only been exposed to them occasionally.

Stevie is a wonderfully sweet boy who I have been fostering, and is now ready for adoption!

He loves to play fetch, walk and cuddle! Stevie is a 1.5 yr old, 45 Lb Lab/Pitt mix, and plays well with other dogs and cats.

We have enjoyed having him in our home to love and adore. Stevie deserves a loving family of his own, and I'm hoping we can find a happy, caring home for him.

Stevie was rescued last January from the Mesquite Shelter, and he has blossomed beautifully from the weakened state in which he was found. If you meet him, you'll see just what a handsome lovebug this boy is today!

We will miss this smart and amazing boy, but we hope you will love him enough for all of us. Stevie is:

- Neutered and micro-chipped
- Up-to-date on shots
- House-trained
- Dog- and cat-friendly

Stevie would be happiest with a family who would take time to walk or throw the ball for him. He is used to the company of several dogs and an affectionate family. I prefer that he is not left alone for day in and out indefinitely. He is still young, so is playful and in need of structure and exercise. He is very trainable and responsive.

His adoption fee is $50. Please text Chelsea at: 512-632-0847 or email her at: thouartcb@hotmail.com if you are interested in this fantastic dog!
