Dini (aka Houdini)'s Story...
This adorable little girl is Dini - short for Houdini. Dini is about 10 weeks old and came to us scared and dirty from the City Pound. She's a little timid at first, but is getting great attention and socialization from her foster family and two kitty foster brothers. Dini likes to hang out where everyone else is and can sometimes be found up to usual kitten antics. Dini is vaccinated and microchipped, but is too young to be spayed yet. If you'd like to give this little gal a forever home someplace warm and cozy, contact SVFA today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dini (aka Houdini), a Valley City Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Valley City, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Valley City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Valley City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Valley City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Valley City paves the way for another one to be saved.
