My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Age: 12 years
Gender: Male
Color: Liver & White
Weight: 55 lbs
Variety: Bench

Being handsome can be a hard job--accepting compliments modestly and posing patiently for admirers is a big responsibility. Just ask our boy Hunter! His foster family describes him as an easygoing, completely housetrained cuddle bug. Hunter relishes any attention and affection that is given to him, so he really doesn't mind it when people tell him how good looking he is!

Don’t let his age fool you. Hunter is very active and enjoys playing fetch with a ball, a toy, or even just a stick. He gets along well with the resident canines in his foster home. Hunter loves his walks and has great leash manners. He is very well behaved and stays in the yard. When he isn’t outside exploring the property or basking in the sun, Hunter will search out his family members for love and snuggles. He also takes great pride in riding along in the car with his people.

Hunter will not only steal your heart, but he might try to steal your spot in bed as well! However, he is content to sleep on a dog bed on the floor, too. If you are looking for a loyal and good-natured companion, Hunter is your boy.

Please note that an approved adoption application is the first step in a more thorough interview process that is designed to match each dog to exactly the right family, and that the final decision rests with the dog's case manager.

Please read the Adoption FAQ and get an Adoption Application approved before inquiring about Hunter.
