My name is Belinda. Some people call me Belinda the beauty. I was rescued from the Riverside shelter not too long ago. I was sent there after being found wandering the streets. I don’t know how long I wandered but I was still pretty healthy when I arrived to the shelter. The shelter was a stressful place, but fortunately for me, I got to have a cell mate that I could cuddle with and play with. She was my best friend. But I started getting sick at the shelter. I would cough so fitfully I would throw up. That wasn’t very fun. So I became urgent and was put on the kill list. Lucky for me, some people noticed me and found me a home that I could stay at for a while – you know, couch surf – until I can find my new forever home. I really like other dogs, except when they get near my food. Don’t they know a beauty needs to eat? I am living with 2 other dogs right now and I love it. I get to play and snuggle with them. They treat me like I’m their real sister. But I know it’s not my home and I am looking for another one. Maybe yours?

About K9 Kismet Dog Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

K9 Kismet was founded to provide a resource for families of 4-legged (or 3-legged... we love our tripods) furries to be able to stay together in times of financial hardship by offering assistance with food, medical, and housing relocation services.

Our secondary mission is to rescue shelter animals and find them forever home.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our pets are residents of their foster family homes and are available for meet and greets by appointment. We are currently too small to hold adoption events, but may be invited to participate in events hosted by other rescues. Stay tuned to our website and Facebook page for event announcements.

Our Adoption Process...

All adopters must be willing to complete an adoption application and home check prior to placement of the animal. All members of the household are required to meet the pet prior to adoption. If other animals are in the home, a meet and greet among the animals is also required. We offer foster-to-adopt options if additional time is needed.

Adoption fees vary on animal and medical status, but in general are:

$200 - young and adult dogs*
$150 - seniors*
$150 - young and adult cats*
$100 - senior cats*

$300* for puppies or kittens who have not yet received all vaccinations prior to entering our rescue - getting them ready to enter mainstream society is expensive!

*Prices listed above are maximum prices. If our costs to care for the animal are less than the amounts listed above, K9 Kismet will offer a discount.

All animals are vaccinated, spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption.
