Every year, the holidays approach more quickly than the last; we hurriedly prepare for a happy holiday season, but many lives lie forgotten and discarded, the lives of so many pets once hopeful, sit still, waiting for their furever homes, the ones that seem like they'll never arrive...for our first Home for the Holidays story, we present to you this beautiful bonded pair, Padme and Kneesa.
Just like the two Star Wars princesses they're named after, these two have faced hard times and battles on their journey to our rescue. Terrified of human contact when they first came into our rescue, these two cats have made huge leaps and bounds. A breakthrough for Kneesa was the intergalactic laser pointer; despite her timid nature, she knew she must defeat it to save the galaxy! Chasing it with excitement, she forgot to be scared! Now, these two cats cannot get enough love from their foster family! In the morning or after work, they greet their foster parents with so much love, begging for attention. Padme will even let you pick her up, and loves being rubbed on the head. Once too scared to be in the same room as humans, now these two let strangers and new friends pet them; the progress is almost unbelievable. It takes two strong princesses to grow like this, and that's what these two girls are!
After their hard life, Kneesa and Padme are looking for a quiet, peaceful home to settle down in. While it may take a week or so for them to come around, once they're comfortable, they are very affectionate. They will do best in a home with no dogs or children. For the holidays this year, Kneesa and Padme are praying for a home full of love and toys, somewhere full of laser pointers to chase through the glittering Christmas lights, to lay their sweet heads among presents while you cook your holiday meals. We don't want to let another Christmas go by without these two don't finding their furever family.
