Important Note

WICKET is best friends with HAN. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
Imagine a life on the streets, with no love, no telling when the next meal will be, lost and alone... now imagine living that life with your babies. This was the reality for Wicket and his kittens before life in foster care with us. For Hidden Treasure Tuesday, we're presenting sweet, loving Wicket and his son, Han, both adorable, bonded family members who have been searching for their new furever home for so long now. They are so deserving of a happy future together, and would make anyone very happy.

Wicket and Han are devoted to one another, and through their progress in the rescue, were completely dependent on each other. Wicket has blossomed from a timid father into a cat who loves attention and pets, so much so that he will take your hand gently with his paw if he is jealous of how much you are petting Han. When learning to trust humans, he would venture out into his foster home, as long as Han was at his side. And with his dad following and watching his every move, Han himself has been able to grow and blossom into a playful, treat-loving sweetheart. To see a kitten who would once run and hide when humans were spotted become confident and adoring of petting and attention is astounding -- and these two couldn't have done it without each other.

Like Ying and Yang, Wicket is calm and gentle, observing and sweet while Han is rambunctious and absolutely adores playing with all his furry foster friends, dogs and cats alike! Together, they make the purrfect pair. Now, Wicket collapses on the floor at the sight of his foster mom, begging for belly rubs and ear scratches, while purring constantly. Han is incredibly brave, offering up his battle cry of a meow before pouncing playfully on his foster brothers and sisters, playing blissfully, hunting bugs (you hate spiders, Han's your guy!) and happily accepting pets in trade for treats. While both cats are a tad skittish of men, they are very food-driven and will take treats from anyone... with proper patience and time, they will learn that all humans are their friends; however, both need a quiet home without small children.

Imagine the dangerous and lonely life that Wicket and Han once led, and now imagine what you could offer them. They will continue to thrive together in a loving home, and you could be the one to give this to them. And right now in honour of Hidden Treasure Tuesdays, we've lowered our adoption fee to $100 for bonded pairs highlighted in this special feature. To apply to adopt these two special boys, please email today!
