My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ADOPT ME...Sophie is a cute little girl and she's 7 yrs old. Don't let her age fool you though, Sophie is still a spry, playful kitty. Sadly, her elderly owner passed away and now Sophie needs a forever home. She is currently being fostered but Sophie would really like a permanent home of her own.

Sophie is shy at first with new people and in new surroundings. She needs an adopter who understands that it may take her a while to feel comfortable and safe in her new home. Sophie loves to be pet and sometimes gives love nips when she doesn't want you to stop. She likes playing with little toys and really loves her spinning ball toy. Sophie would like someone to hang out with and to have a cat tree near a window to watch the birds or just watch the activity outside. A home with no other animals would be best but she might be able to share a big enough home with another very mellow cat. Sophie has been thru a lot and deserves a loving home with a patient owner who will give Sophie the time she needs to blossom in her new home. We hold adoption events every Sat/Sun, 12-3:00pm. All other times, cats are shown by appointment by calling 949-829-0036.
