My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi – my name is Tilly.

I am a little Schnauzer Dachshund mix girl. I am approximately 3-4 years old and weigh 18 pounds.

I was found as a stray in Ohio and ended up in a shelter. Fortunately for me, the shelter contacted Schnauzer Rescue Cincinnati – and before long I was in their care. I went to the vet, was spayed, got my vaccinations, and even had my teeth polished. I am heart worm negative and on preventative.

I have moved to the St. Louis area along with another girl who was lost to live in a foster home until I can find my new furever home.

I am a really sweet girlie! Love to cuddle and do well with my foster parents’ other fur faces. But I would really like to find my very own home. I like chewies and play a little with toys. I’m learning to play with the other dogs here too. At first I wasn’t sure what they were trying to do – but have caught on now.

I ride well in a car, and do well on a leash – but they have a fenced yard here and I would love to have one of those at my new home. I would make a great companion because I love to be with people – just to be close to them. My tail wags almost non-stop. That’s what a happy girl I am.

I am currently living with Tom and Ann in Herculaneum MO – right outside of St. Louis. My adoption fee is only $300 – not much really for all the love I can give you.
