My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there, I’m Cranberry! I’m an 8 month old, white and red, St. Bernard. Even though I’m just a puppy, I’m already a pretty big girl, weighing in at just under 80 lb. Staff from The Pet Rescue Center pulled me from a local shelter where I was surrendered by my owners. I get along well with other dogs though sometimes, being young, I play a little too rough. I am learning to be more gentle though. I can be a bit of a clown but I am basically well mannered. I will need a strong owner with some dog experience to provide me with guidance and teach me to be a good citizen as I am already big and getting bigger everyday. If you’re looking for a goofy, slobbery playmate who is loads of fun, contact The Pet Rescue Center today to meet Cranberry.
ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adopt/adoption-application.html. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Our mission is to save the lives of dogs and cats at risk of euthanasia. The Pet Rescue Center is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
