My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Laugh at how heavy I am, but I can't run and play anymore! =( I watch the other doggies and I whine a little, because they can play but I cannot! My old family thought they were being nice but I don't feel good. My foster mom is taking me on short walks and is watching my diet,. I've already lost four pounds in 8 days! =) I'm a 3 year old spayed female poodle, or maybe a Malti-Poo! I'm very sweet, friendly, but overweight. My adoption fee is $325. I have no behavior or health issues other than I need to lose a few pounds - and I'm working on that! =) I did have kennel cough (a doggie cold), but I'm over that! =) Still walking, starting to really like it! =)


Emily, now LEXIE, is adopted on December 16, 2015 to Irene and Jim B of Anthem, AZ. She is now on thyroid meds, walking regularly, and really slimming down! WOW! She's one hot lady, now!! and such a beautiful heart!!! We really like Irene and Jim, as they really, really love and are affectionate with Lexie!! She gets lots and lots of love, like she so richly deserves!!! We are so happy for her. YAY!!!!!
