Andy's Story...
Andy is a 2 year old yellow Lab mix who is an AWESOME boy full of love and loyalty! He gets along great with kids and other dogs. Andy is a very happy boy who just wants to be by your side and is eager to please. He appears to be house trained and kennel trained as well. Andy likes to play fetch and have his belly rubbed. He so laid back and super handsome too!! Andy is very smart! I was able to train him in just two days not to potty on all my new bushes by taking him out on the leash and letting him know those were off limits. He now walks right out and and doesn't even give them a second glance. Andy is very well behaved in my home and is a joy to have around!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Andy, a Overland Park Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
