My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Felicity! She is a 10 month old Dalmatian who is deaf. She was turned in to the local shelter because her owners could not care for her adequately and did not know she was deaf. She is a super sweet girl, very playful (she loves her tennis ball and bones) and has endless amounts of energy! She would do best in a home with no other dogs or possibly one other dog if he/she is playful and laid back. A fenced yard is required and a home with past deaf dog experience is preferred. Felicity knows sit but is still learning other hand signals and will need a home who is willing to teach her signs. She is very food motivated and loves to play fetch with her tennis ball. She is an active girl and has some mild separation anxiety (she will whine and bark when first put in her crate). She is crate trained and almost house-trained. She loves to cuddle and give kisses, she is a velcro dog and loves to be with her people. Her ideal home is someone who has worked with deaf dogs in the past, has a fenced yard and who has lots of time to spend with her to make sure she has adequate amounts of exercise and training. She is great with all people (men, women and kids) and her playful antics and curiosity will keep you entertained! Felicity is being fostered near Columbus, OH
