Cuddlebug's Story...
Found as a stray and never claimed this quirky looking girl is obviously used to being somebody's baby. We named her Cuddlebug and she deserves that name! The volunteers are smitten and I don't think she's had to do much walking since she came into our program (since everybody want to hold her)!

Cuddlebug is healthy, very calm and lovable. She doesn't have the best looking teeth so it's hard to pin an age on her (small dogs often have bad teeth) but we're going to say she's around 4 years old.

Cuddlebug walks well on a leash and is just generally a super-easy dog to have around. Due to her small size (7 pounds), we would prefer to place her in a home with no children or with older children only. Must see and hold to appreciate!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cuddlebug, a Marietta Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
