My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PUPDATE 12-20-2015: Bertram has gained 22lbs now and is looking amazing. His hip bones and ribs are no longer visible and he has a lot more energy and is feeling GREAT!! The perfect home for him would have a young playful dog and a safe fenced in yard.

Bertram is a 8-10 month old Red Bone puppy that was pulled from his owner in Iowa as a neglect case. He was at the local vet until 11-07 and is now in foster care in Illinois, currently being treated for a bladder infection and suspected Lyme disease. Our goal right now is to feed him 3 times a day and get him to put on at least 10lbs so that we can get his vaccinations done. As he has some liver and kidney issues, the medications for the Lyme disease should help him feel so much better.

We could sure use some help with his care and are accepting donations at this link HELP IBR!< /a>
