Fiona's Story...
Please come and visit this adorable pair at WOODY'S PET FOOD DELI in Edina. Check their hours before coming. They are loving the attention and doing great on Woody's raw diet. Thank you to the wonderful people there for helping our rescue. We appreciate your generosity and care.

Fiona and Gabby are lovely and affecionate momma cats that were reunited after their kittens were raised. This pair must have been close friends in their colony and we are so happy they found their way back together again.

Gabby is a dark tortie and Fiona is a lovely tabby with white mittens. Both are very good with people and use the litter box well.

They are spayed and up to date on all vet care prior to adoption and come with vet records as well as an adoption agreement that states they are to remain an indoor only cats and never to be declawed. We are not going to separate them ever again! They is in Blue Sky Rescue of MN, a foster based 501C3 rescue. We screen all applicants.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fiona, a Wayzata Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Wayzata, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Wayzata.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wayzata already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wayzata breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wayzata paves the way for another one to be saved.
