"Who's one of the sweetest, cutest Beagles you'll ever meet? It's me, CHELSEA. I'm here at the El Cajon Animal Shelter because my owner could no longer take care of me, so I hope every day that a kind person or family will take me home and love me forever. I'm eight years old, and I've been working hard to regain my girlish figure by going on walks and eating right. I love to go for walks, which is not only good for my health, but also my mind. I have a happy-go-lucky disposition, so I love everybody. I enjoy being around people and other dogs, and I'd be a great family pet. I'm a smart, well-behaved dog who's been house trained, and I know how to sit on command. Won't you please come visit me? Once you look into my warm, expressive eyes, I know you'll be hooked. As a Super Senior, MY ADOPTION FEE IS ONLY $30. That's a great deal for a happy hound like me! Please ask the helpful shelter staff to take us out to the play yard so we can get better acquainted, then maybe you can take me home and give me all the love that I truly deserve. Love, Chelsea"
