My story

Hi there my name is Basil. I'm a 5 pound, 3 year old Yorkshire terrier (Yorkie for short). Even though I'm still a little scared of a lot of things around me , I am more than ready to find my forever home and family. I am learning to go potty outside but I might still make mistakes once in awhile, so until then I'm sleeping in my crate but cannot wait to sleep with my person in a real bed. I do really good on a leash and like to go for long walks. Like any fur baby I prefer not to stay in a crate but I will without any problem if my family needs me to while they are away for the day, especially if they give me a treat. I do really well with women and kids and I do like men, but they make me a little nervous at first so I let them know by barking. All my K9 foster brothers and sisters are my size and we get along great, so I don't know how l would be around bigger dogs or cats. I don't really play a whole lot yet, but I bet I will after I get used to everyone and everything. Foster mommy says that I'm so ready for my forever home that I will be the best doggie I know how to be if you just give me a little bit of time to do so. Basil is up to date on all shots, heart worm negative, on heart worm preventative, microchiped, de-wormed, had a dental, groomed, and neutered. Basil’s adoption fee is $350.00.
