Sasha's Story...
When we saw Sasha at the shelter, and took her out to meet her, we were instantly in love with this sweet, young girl. We didn't get great pics of her, but she is small, maybe 25 pounds, and about 9-12 mths old. She could be full grown, or may get a bit bigger. She is a love bug, she loves everyone, all dogs, and cats too! She can be shy in new situations, but she quickly warms up, and gets adjusted. She walks well on a leash. She is potty trained, and using the doggy door! When she see's you, she is so happy that her little stubby nubby tail wags like crazy! She is a joyful, lovely little girl, who is just the right size, not too big, and not too small!!

As part of your adoption package, each dog will be fully vaccinated (Da2PP, and Rabies), have a microchip, and be spayed/neutered. If the dog is not spayed/neutered at time of adoption, you will be required to transport the dog to/from the drop-off point on surgery day. Each dog will be heartworm tested, and you will receive 6 mths of preventative HW medication. You will receive a free bag of premium dog food, and also receive a $25 gift card from Choice Pet Market. You will also get 4 training classes which are mandatory.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sasha, a Chandler Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Chandler, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Chandler.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chandler already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chandler breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chandler paves the way for another one to be saved.
