PEANUT's Story...

Peanut Peanut is a SPAYED 2 1/2 year old LOVE BUG! Yes, those are tears you see! She was surrendered today. You see, 6 months ago her owner passed away. A family took her in and has been caring for her, but today she was surrendered to the shelter. I think we were all crying with her today. She is good with other dogs and is wonderful with people. Not sure what she is breed wise. Not that big, maybe 35 pounds? More about her later this week! Vet records are available.

She is spayed and her adoption fee is $25.00. She loves people and other dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PEANUT, a Kenansville Labrador Retriever/Black Mouth Cur dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Black Mouth Cur for sale in Kenansville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Black Mouth Cur dog from a breeder in Kenansville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kenansville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kenansville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Black Mouth Cur breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Black Mouth Cur rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kenansville paves the way for another one to be saved.
