Darby (Guest)'s Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Darby (Guest)'s Story...
We are helping Darby find a new home.

Darby is affectionate, relaxed, and loves to be with people, according to his owner. He's content lounging all day. He is a solid black male GSD , about 8 years old. His owners surrendered him to their vet because Darby does not get along with other dogs. We are helping the vet find him a new home.

Darby gets along with kids. However, he is territorial around other dogs. He does not get along with cats. He would do well as an only pet, where he could be with his people.

Darby is in good health and up to date on vet care. He has been neutered.

Darby would need a moderately active home where he could get daily exercise. He is housebroken, crate trained, walks well on a leash, and knows basic commands. He's been through basic training.

If you'd like to meet Darby, please contact his owner directly at;

GSDRGA has not met Darby, he is not our foster dog. We are guest listing him. Please contact his owner to ask questions, or set up a meeting.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Darby (Guest), a Roswell German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Roswell, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Roswell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Roswell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Roswell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Roswell paves the way for another one to be saved.
