My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zeus is an 11 month old, male Cane Corso. He's a beautiful boy whose original owner surrendered him to a humane society because they didn't have time for him.
He is good with kids, and would be okay with other dogs with proper introduction. Zeus has not been tested with cats.
He is crate trained and house trained and in typical rescue Corso fashion, he can be reactive to other dogs on walks. This is being worked on by his foster mom and trainer, and they are having great success!
Zeus is a very emotional boy, like most Corso are, and will require an assertive and experienced handler. Corso are not for beginner dog owners. Their temperament is completely different than Pitbull and Bullmastiff for example, which are much more laid back than what a Corso is.

Zeus will come vaccinated, heartworm tested, microchipped, and neutered. He will also come with two free training sessions with his trainer upon adoption. One immediately when or after he goes home, and one a week or two later to discuss any issues that may come up.
We are asking that his new family commit to ongoing training, obedience to help him be the best dog that he can be!
Corso's love their family above all else and do very well with boundaries and structure.
