Facts about Fezzik

  • Breed: Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog Mix
  • Color: Black - With White
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
  • Sex: Male
Fezzik was found running down the interstate as a puppy. He is a very sweet, playful boy that thinks he is still a lap puppy. He loves to go for a walk, car rides, and swims. Fezzik loves to play fetch. He has grown up in rescue. I think he would do best in an adults or older kids household. Fezzik doesn't like a lot of noise. He liked children but when they get excited he just wants to go in a corner. He turns two on June 30th.

About Tank's Legacy

About Our Rescue Group...

All of our fosters are animal lovers that want to save as many lives as possible, but our ultimate goal is to make sure that the ones we save have a wonderful life. It's very important to us to make sure everyone is happy.

Tank's Legacy was started in honor of a rescue dog named Tank. His story is on our website.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our first adoption event is Oct 24th, 2015 at the Cultural Center in Port Charlotte.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption fee varies based on the age of the dog. Puppies to 1 year are $300. 1+ to 7 years old is $275. 7+ is $250. These fees help cover the extensive vetting these dogs usually require and help us save special cases like Scooter. Please visit our website or email for more information.
You must complete an adoption application. Once your application is reviewed and references checked, including vet, you will be called to set up a home visit. If you are approved, then a meet and greet will be scheduled. If that goes well, then you can have your new furry baby!
We will do a two week follow up visit as well to see how you are all adjusting.

None of our fosters will be kept outside, especially on a chain. These are family members. If you cannot keep them inside with you, then please look elsewhere.
