Let me tell you my sad story. I forget the name I had when I was little, but now they call me Tit-homme. According to people in the neighbourhood, I was homeless and living in the same alley for 9 years. I must have been abandoned on moving day when I was very young. While fighting to survive, I contracted feline AIDS. I had forgotten what it means to trust humans, but since the Refuge took me in, I've been learning how. My foster mother tells me that, given what I've gone through, the progress I've made in bonding with her is amazing, and reminds me that, 'You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed.' Will you be the one to become responsible for me?

Our Adoption Process...

All our cats are in foster homes and people who wish to adopt one can make an appointment to visit the cat at the home or come to the adoption days. All cats have been seen by a veterinarian, vaccinated and sterilized. The fee is $160 and includes sterilization of kittens when they reach five to six months of age. Adopting families sign a contract and if they already have other cats, these cats must be sterilized.
