MEET MIRANDA….a sweetheart of a 12 lbs, 3 yr old, charcoal and white, Shih Tzu, who is dying to be in her own forever home. Miranda came from the South Central Shelter, shaved to the bone because she arrived extremely matted. But hair grows back and she will be a fluff muffin in no time! Miranda is very active and loves to play…and belly rubs will make you her forever friend! She can be a little dominant and doesn’t like other dogs in her face. But once she is comfortable, which takes very little time, she’s great. She is wonderful with people — including kids over 8 yrs old. She could go to a home with or without another dog, but she would prefer having a canine buddy she could play with! One thing for sure, she could not go to a home where she is left alone all day. She is good in the car, loves to go on walks, seems to be housetrained (definitely pp pad trained) — at least at our house — but no guarantees at yours! Miranda loves to be with you…so when you open the door, make sure she isn’t following behind you when she isn’t supposed to be! Miranda is looking for her forever home, and if you are looking to make a furbaby your child….you should come and meet her and see if you are a match!

UPDATE!!!! Lhasa Happy Homes will be now holding our adoption events most every Sunday at ROVER KENNELS on Main Street in Santa Monica (check calendar link below for special events and directions). Rover is located at 2116 Main Street, in Santa Monica, CA. Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household. Main Street is famous for its innovative shops and is close to the beach! Make a day of it!! Metered parking on the street and free parking on 4th and Bicknell Streets.
Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household....and do some fantastic shopping at the same time! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events). Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!
