Bach's Story...
Bach is a precious chi mix who came from a hoarding situation that was dumped at ECAS! We pulled 14 of the 20 dogs that were part of this case! He's around 2 yrs old and around 10lbs! He's a laid back and sweet boy! He's the perfect lap and cuddle buddy! He has come so far since we got him! He was so terrified he even escaped transport and was on the run for 2 days! Now he loves being part of the family and snuggling! He's good with other animals! Would do best in a home without kids. He loves to sleep in the bed with you at night. He does great on car rides and walks well on a leash now. He's doing great with house and kennel training! He's utd, hw neg and neutered!

All dogs have a $150 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bach, a Grand Bay Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Grand Bay, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Grand Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
