BELLA's Story...
Bella is such an adorable little girl! She is pretty active, super sweet, loveable and good natured. She gets along well with children and also with other dogs and cats. She will even dance for you to get a treat. She was surrendered to us because her owner moved and the new landlord would not permit her to keep a dog in the house. Bella will make some lucky family a wonderful pet. She is 4 years old and she weighs about 10 pounds. She has been spayed, heartworm tested, micro-chipped, fecal tested, is current on all vaccines, worming, heartworm and flea prevention. Her adoption fee is $400.

Bella is being fostered in Tennessee. Our rescue ships to the New England area every week and her fee does include transportation. Once adopted she will be transported to her pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Due to state laws, we do not adopt to Maine residents.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BELLA, a Newburgh Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Newburgh, or seeking a Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Newburgh.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newburgh already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newburgh breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newburgh paves the way for another one to be saved.
