Misty's Info...

I am already spayed, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Misty's Story...
Misty is a quiet 2 year old cat available for adoption. She came in as a very pregnant stray at the end of July and gave birth to her three kittens two day later. She spent a few weeks with us raising her kittens until a foster home was found. Misty then got to enjoy some time in a foster home while she finished raising her kittens. Misty is pretty laid back and quiet and would love to find a nice and quiet home were she can spent her days lounging under the sun. She is very sweet with people and would make a great lap cat! She prefers to be the only cat, but would do best with calm cats and a home with no dogs is ideal. Her adoption fee is $65 and includes all her vaccines, registered microchip, fecal exam, deworming, FIV/Felv test, and spay.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Misty, a Joliet Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Joliet, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Joliet.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Joliet already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Joliet breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Joliet paves the way for another one to be saved.
