Schwartz is a male Bichon Frise/Maltese mix only 1 year in age. He has been professionally groomed and sadly all of his gorgeous white coat had to be shaved off due to severe matting and neglect. His fur will grow back in no time, soft, long, gently curly and non-shedding. Schwartz is a nice manageable and sturdy size, weighing 15 pounds full-grown. He is very sweet, tender, and friendly with everyone. He is sensitive and submissive and will try to do whatever you say. Schwartz is excellent with children, patient, gentle and kind. He loves attention, being patted and stroked, and fussed over. Schwartz is also great with other dogs and can be silly and playful when at the park or in the backyard. Inside the home, Schwartz will follow you politely around, never making a fuss but happy to keep you company. He can just as easily hang out in a doggie bed as he can snuggle beside you in your lap. Schwartz is learning how to walk on leash and trots along without pulling. On walks, he will stay close to your side, bumping his nose gently on your leg from time to time to reassure himself that everything is okay. Its an adorable little habit he has. Schwartz was rescued from a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where he was brought in stray. He is a sweet dog and is going to make a nice, grateful young pet. Schwartz is ready for his new forever home today!
Schwartz’s adoption donation is $425 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Schwartz is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Sharon and is ready for his forever home.
