Dexter's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Dexter's Story...
Dexter found himself at Pinal Animal Care And Control with two other dogs when their owner was admitted into hospice.

Dexter is an 8 year old sweet husky/chow mix that loves to give kisses. He knows some basic commands and really enjoys his walks where he is learning better leash manners. Dexter loves all people and gets along well with other dogs, but is not fond of cats. He would make a great running partner and addition to any family. Dexter loves a good chew bone and is also happy to be relaxed and laying at your feet.

Let us know if you have room in your heart and home for Dexter.
You won’t regret it!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dexter, a Scottsdale Siberian Husky/Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky/Chow Chow for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Siberian Husky/Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky/Chow Chow breeders who help with Siberian Husky/Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
