Phoenix's Story...
Phoenix is a spunky, 1 year old Pit mix looking for her forever home! We have never met a pup so delighted with life! She is all fun, and takes pleasure in playing fetch with her toys! Phoenix is wonderful with sharing her toys with us, and also takes treats nicely. She knows to sit and wait patiently for her treats, and is a very intelligent girl! Phoenix is good with other dogs, but may be too vivacious to live in a home peacefully with cats. She is excellent with kids. Phoenix has an easy to get along with demeanor. She actually is convinced she is a lapdog as well. Her adoption fee is $170 and includes her vaccines, deworming, fecal exam, heartworm test, registered microchip, and spay.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Phoenix, a Joliet Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Joliet, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Joliet.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Joliet already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Joliet breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Joliet paves the way for another one to be saved.
