My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Thank you for noticing this precious pup. Our preferred criteria for adopting a young unaltered pup from RGDR: Home owners with fenced yards or in pet friendly developments with exercise areas; excellent vet references for caring for previous pets AND a somewhat flexible schedule where the pup is not alone for long periods of time. These are YOUNG pups who have only been with their siblings up to now. We would like to place them as safely, happily and permanently as possible. Please do not apply if this list does not fit you.
Nigel, Henrietta, Percy and Edith Ann are 5-6 week old babies from a yorkie mom
named Molly. Nigel is the largest in the group. His sister Henrietta is the largest female and
also the trickster in this litter. Percy is the smallest of all the pups and has a heavy coat.
Edith Ann is a small smooth coat female. These are lively little pups that will play with toys
and try hard to get your toes and shoe laces. They love to play with each other and slide across the floor. They are doing well with pottying on pads and they are eating on their own. These pups can be adopted around Thanksgiving. Their adoption fee is $200

The ideal home for this Real Good Dog will have a secure fenced yard. A solid history of excellent vet care for current or previous pets is required. Preference will be given to applicants who have specific breed experience.

Please visit www.realgoodrescue.com to submit an electronic application if you are interested in adopting this or any other Real Good Dog.

We adopt dogs from Memphis Animal Shelter when we can. The shelter has an 83% euthanasia rate, one of the highest in the country. Unfortunately, any dog coming from Memphis Animal Shelter, and most other shelters for that matter, will have been in contact with contagious illness. Even though the dogs have been in foster care and appear to be in good health, they may become stressed when changing environments and exhibit signs and symptoms of illness. If you have other pets, they need to be up to date on vaccines before bringing a shelter dog into your home. We will take the adopted animal back, but we are not responsible for your other animal's vet care. We always disclose where the dogs have come from. Please ask for any information about the dogs and exercise due caution if you have immunocompromised animals.
