Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi my name is Alfie. My Foster Mom calls me Tank or Tank-a-licious (what can I say the ladies love me!) I am a 6-year-old English Bulldog I am completely crate and house trained. I get along with dogs and people of all ages! Not sure about cats (haven’t met any in Rescue).
My Foster family tells me I am the kindest dog they have ever met, and that’s saying a lot, because they love their fur babies! My favorite thing to do is hang out and watch the day go by. While I am not super excitable, my tail is at a constant wag (it’s all the stored up happy I have). I am not much of a barker, unless it’s time to eat (twice a day). If you’re running behind on my mealtime, I am going to give you a heads up that you’re running late!
When I came into rescue I had an ulcerated eye and some pretty nasty ear infections. These were likely due to my adventures on the streets before I was picked up by rescue. My right eye had to be removed, but I took it like a champ and haven’t missed a step since. My ear infections were due to food allergies and now that I am on the right food my ears are squeaky clean. Because of these ear infections, it’s absolutely necessary that I am on the right food. I eat Hill’s Prescription Diet z/d canine ultra. If I don’t get the proper food, my ears will get yucky and stinky again! I need ear drops 3x a week and daily drops in my good eye. I also happen to take those like a champ (seeing a pattern here?!).
I am looking for my fur-ever home. If you think I belong with you please fill out an application with Rescue Ohio English Bulldogs. I can’t wait to have my very own family to share all my stored up happy with!
