Titan's Story...
Hi there! My name's Titan, what's yours?? I was recently transferred to AFW from a local animal control facility, where I would have most likely been euthanized if no one rescued me. I'm so glad I'm at this shelter now, but what I'd really like is a home of my own and people to live me. I'm a fun loving boy, who loves to play. Would YOU be my new best friend and play with me every day??

Prior to being adopted I will be up to date on vaccinations, neutered and will have a microchip. All that's missing now is that special someone to take me home and love me!

The shelter is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1-5, Tuesday and Thursday from 1-8, and Saturday from 10-2. Come visit!

You can see some of our adoptable pets almost every Saturday at the Petsmart in Greensburg from noon to 6pm and some Sundays too. All adoption fees include spay/neuter and up-to-date vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Titan, a Youngwood Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Youngwood, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Youngwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Youngwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Youngwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Youngwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
