Samantha's Story...
I'm a two-year-old, beautiful Labrador Retriever mix. I was rescued from the county shelter where I found myself all alone and very scared in this noisy, unfamiliar environment.

I'm a very sweet, gentle and loving young lady. I get along well with other dogs and I'm fine with cats. I'm house trained and have excellent manners. I love to be petted and consider myself a lap dog smile emoticon Moreover, I enjoy gentle pets and belly rubs. My foster dad says that I have excellent leash manners and I ride nicely in the car.

I'm spayed, current on my vaccines, licensed and will be micro chipped upon adoption. Please contact Carrie On Rescue at or call them at (480) 603-7680 if you have any questions about me and to set up a time to meet me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Samantha, a Gilbert Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
