Lynn's Story...
Meet Lynn. Born in 2011, she might fool you into thinking she's shy, but then curiosity gets the best of her and she just has to be part of the action! Although she likes to explore and check out her surroundings, she may check back with you for reassurance. That is a great time to give her soft fur a rub as she enjoys attention and scratches. She is friendly, sweet and affectionate and hopes she finds a family who is the same. Lynn is on a prescription diet that can be discussed at time of inquiry. Won't you come see what a great girl our Lynnie is? She is available at CONCORD PET in Graylyn Crest.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lynn, a Wilmington Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Wilmington, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Wilmington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wilmington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wilmington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wilmington paves the way for another one to be saved.
