Nugget's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Nugget's Story...
We saved Nugget after getting an emergency call from the shelter saying if a rescue didn't step up and get Nugget right away the shelter was going to put him down all because he was limping. We knew we would not let this happen. We rushed nugget to the vet to see what is going on. After getting xrays the vet said it was just a small stress fracture. It was nothing major and nothing that with a little time would heal. Nugget has fully healed up and is now ready for his for ever home. He is a super sweet boy and a true love bug.

Act quickly to adopt Nugget. Pets at this Rescue Group may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nugget, a Salisbury Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Salisbury, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Salisbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salisbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salisbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salisbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
