My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Edward (HWTH#15474A). He is a German Shepherd mix, DOB: 11/14/14. He looks to be purebred but we don't have papers on him so we call him a mix. Edward weighs approximately 75 pounds and stands 27 inches at the shoulders. He was found abandoned in Pelona Park in Palmdale, California. This is an extremely handsome young dog who is very strong and rambunctious! It appears that Edward has had little or no training so he will need an active owner willing to take on the challenge of giving Edward the amount of exercise it will take to get him to be receptive to learning some manners (he does not show aggression towards humans). His next owner should be a runner (who wants a canine running partner) or possibly someone involved with dog sports who has had experience with German Shepherds. Edward will need to have a large, secure yard to run and play in, lots of love and good-quality human companionship. Positive basic obedience training will help with the bonding process and leash training. Edward also needs to learn canine manners so he knows how to approach other dogs appropriately.
