My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Donnie came to us at the end of 2015 and was adopted Jan 2016. Animal control just brought him back to us (we did not know it was him at first). Once we realized it was him by comparing him to his old pictures, we contacted his adopter. They did not want him anymore.
Donnie is a very sweet natured fella and dreams of a family that will not betray his love. Please come meet Donnie.

The only way to know the actual breed would be to do a DNA test which is too costly for non-profits. We post that the pet is housetrained if we were told on intake that they are or if they behave as if they are. In the shelter environment it is hard to determine if they actually are and even if they were, they will usually have to be re-trained when they go to a home. This is usually easy if you are consistent in when you take them out and use positive training methods. We can provide tips upon request.
