Harlow's Story...
Harlow is an adorable, affectionate, and outgoing grey girl who is looking for her forever home. She loves people and is wonderful with other cats and kittens. She has been fully vetted including spay, microchip, fvrcp vaccine, Felv/ FIV testing (negative), routine dewormings, and wellness exam.

Please note she must be adopted into a home with another playful cat or kitten, or with another one of ours. No exceptions as it is best for her behaviorally and socially to have a buddy.Harlow's adoption fee is $125 and covers her vetting. She's available through a licensed not for profit rescue group. If you'd like to meet Harlow, please email for an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harlow, a Chicago Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
