Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DAISY MAE is a 1.5 year old spayed black female Lab who weighs 94 pounds but needs to lose about 20. Daisy Mae is a beautiful and large gal looking for a family to love! She is very strong on leash and has not had any leash training. She will definitely benefit from an easy walk harness and attending an obedience class to help with basic skills. Like most young labs she is very active and will benefit from regular exercise. She is very, very sweet! She rides well in the car. She is good with other dogs. She is an owner surrender to a shelter because they never trained her and she is strong on a leash. She is approved for kids 10+.
Update (11/23): Daisy Mae is an absolute sweetheart. She has been the perfect houseguest and is as sweet and lovable as they come. She has great house manners and can be trusted with free run of the house. She loves to cuddle and sleeps soundly throughout the night. She is a quite the bed hog but we don't mind. She needs to lose 20 pounds but that shouldn't be a problem because this girl loves to play. Tennis balls are her favorite and she will gently drop them at your feet begging for you to throw the ball again, and again, and again. She would love to have a big yard to play fetch, and family that will give her lots of belly rubs. Daisy Mae doesn't know her basic commands like sit and down, and she pulls very hard on the leash, so she will benefit from some basic obedience..however she is eager to learn.
