Shamus is a male black and white Shih Tzu only 1 year old. He has been professionally groomed and has a silky soft, wavy coat that is non-shedding. Shamus has an air of royalty about him and the cutest little walk. He is black and white in color with a striking black "mask" over both eyes. Shamus wants to be loved, cuddled and hugged. He is reserved at first, mellow and observant, until he gains confidence and trust in his situation. We think he may have been treated badly in his past, poor little guy. Shamus is a gentle soul who enjoys petting, stroking, and kind words. He is always nearby with a doggie smile ready for you. Shamus will sit by your chair while you work and will sit quietly by the door if you go somewhere. He promises to be a darling, loyal pup. Shamus will run and play with the other dogs if its playtime. He is cutely playful but does not need another dog in the home to feel secure. Shamus mostly thrives on the attention of his trusted human companions. After a few pats, he rolls over for a well-deserved belly rub. Shamus was also a very good boy at the groomer. He rides well in the car and has nice behavior in public. Shamus will make someone a wonderful pet and companion. He was rescued from the shelter where he was brought in stray. Shamus is healthy and ready for his new forever home today!
Shamus’s adoption donation is $425 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
