Lovely Luna's Story...
Hi there! My name is Luna and - let me tell you - I've already had quite the life! I don't know how, but I ended up at this amazing shelter. I'm just so excited to have someone scratch behind my ear while I wait patiently for my chance to find someone to love, cuddle and play with me! Things you should know: I've got a really beautiful coat with a white patch on my chest. I'm about 3 years old and 71 loveable pounds. The folks at the shelter say that I am a big, strong, friendly dog who loves to play with toys. I could live with kids 8+ and another big, friendly dog after a slow introduction; however, cats are a no go. I've decided that my ideal home would be with active folks who take me on hikes and runs and include me in their family activities. I honestly don't think I would be able to quit wagging my tail if I had my very own human(s) to give me belly rubs and cool toys to play with. I do hope to hear from you soon! Woofs and tails wags, Love Luna

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lovely Luna, a Issaquah American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Issaquah, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Issaquah.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Issaquah already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Issaquah breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Issaquah paves the way for another one to be saved.
