Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Yoda is only 6 months old, but his wrinkled brow and pensive gaze can make him look much older than his days. Take him out of his kennel to be with other dogs though, and you'll see that Yoda is really a carefree youth with plenty of playful puppy energy. Yoda also enjoys walking on leash and just hanging-out with his favorite human companions. Yoda's foster family reports that he has a super-sweet disposition, loves to be with people, and that he appears to be housetrained, too!
This diminutive Terrier-mix still has a bit more growing to do, but since he is barely tipping the scales at 19 pounds, we expect Yoda to be on the small side of medium, when he reaches adulthood. For more information on Yoda, please email pbschoen18@gmail.com or call/text (225) 205-9330.
You might also be able to catch Yoda at our Dog Adoption House at 8476 Highland Rd! The hours are M-F: 11:30-5pm / Sat & Sun: 11-3pm! However, be sure contact Yoda's foster home first at to make they will be there on that day.
We have an application process to ensure that each dog and family is the right match. All applications must be approved prior to adoption. If you would like to start the application process to find out if you would be a good match, below are the instructions to our online application.
Your completed application is auto-emailed to our organization for review once you hit submit. Please also inform the foster once you have submitted. All questions MUST be answered. If a question doesn't apply, just put "NA". You will receive an auto-reply thanking you for submitting your application. Please allow us some time for review!
