My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

NIA is a 4 year old spayed black female Lab who weighs 74 pounds. She is a playful, curious girl who gets along with other dogs when introduced at a slow pace. She is good in her crate and loves her food, and especially enjoys the special time when I hand feed her. Occasionally she needs to be reminded that her feet should stay on the floor and that the water buckets need to be filled with out her head in them :) Everyone who has met her just loves her.
Nia is a sweet, happy go lucky girl. She showed up at a citizens house and he took her to the shelter, along with another dog that was with her but she was not claimed so they called us. She is friendly and outgoing and just wants to be everyone's friend. She is waggy, affectionate and has a great smile and lean. Nia is good on leash and a good rider. She is keeping her room clean at the vet. She is good with most other dogs but requires slow, controlled introductions as she is a bit apprehensive and cautious with new dogs. Nia is approved for kids ages 10+.

Update (12/01): Nia is a happy, carefree girl that has wonderful manners! She is absolutely gorgeous and the sweetest girl! She is good in her crate and house trained. Great on leash. What a nice girl!

Update (11/25): Nia has realized the other dogs are fun!! She is a big, gorgeous girl who loves everyone. Everyone that meets her falls in love too - how could you not with those eyes? She has great house manners and is quiet in her crate. She is having a blast playing with all her foster siblings and other pups that visit!
