My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pumpkin is a pretty, calm 5 year old Shorthair Tortoiseshell kitty. She was rescued from a local CT shelter after waiting many months. She is friendly and enjoys head rubs & rolling in catnip! In a foster home she's been doing great with kids & cats & is fine with the dogs too, although she'd prefer if there weren't TOO many of each of those. The video in the "tv" icon on here is the newest one, in her new foster home, where there is just 1 other cat & 2 older kids. Video #3 was taken the day she'd been brought back to Petsmart after a break in a foster home; & is part of the reason we're letting her stay in a foster home now. She may not have liked sharing so small a space with another cat; but she did tolerate it. Her reactions to stress have been hiding/withdrawing, & overgrooming--not striking out or biting. And in a calm house like in video #1 & #4, you can see she's far from hiding, she's out playing & giving & receiving affection!

Pumpkin is spayed, has been tested for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) & FeLV (feline leukemia virus) & found to be negative, is up to date on vaccines, microchipped and ready to head to her forever home!
